At Harmony Montgomery, our story began with a passion for finding Harmony Montgomery. Volunteers traveled from near and far to search for Harmony, and people who might be able to provide information to the authorities. Volunteers took money out of their pockets, and time away from their families, and some of us are not even close to done.
My name is Regina Carr and I run this website. I parked this website during the trial of Adam Montgomery to ensure this website would not be used as a means for appeal of Adam Montgomery's guilty verdict. I would take no part in the possibility of tainting the jury. Now that the trial has come to it's conclusion, I will keep this site up until Harmony is found, or my last breath, whichever comes first.
This has not come without sacrifice. Monetarily, the sacrifice means nothing. Personally, the sacrifice means everything. Volunteers were attacked on social media, implicated in the case, and worse. At least one of us was questioned by detectives based on a tip. Most of us were attacked for advocating and looking for the child of a mother who was less than perfect. That less than perfect mother, didn't slither off in the face of insurmountable public scrutiny. Harmony deserves to be found, and laid to rest properly. That less than perfect mother deserves the closure that finding her daughters remains will provide.
To all the volunteers, I am taking this opportunity to Thank You, the efforts and sacrifice are not in vain. The search will continue.
